Old mate said he was from Telstra. Asked if we were experiencing internet troubles. Said I was at work and would call my internet Provider back direct if I had a problem & that I didn’t recognise his number. He was polite, had an accent. After seeing other reviews this is very likely a scam. Number won’t dial if you try to call back.

It's become a routine pattern: the scammers first call using what looks like a landline number. After failing to reach someone, they attempt to call back using a mobile number a few hours later, likely hoping to catch someone more responsive. This tactic has been ongoing for several months, and it seems these fraudsters need to find legitimate employment.

I received a call that hung up without leaving a message. I recommend not answering calls from numbers not listed on your caller ID, as they may be from AI-generated sources.

A male caller with an Indian accent claimed to be from Telstra and stated that there was a problem with my computer. This call clearly appears to be a scam, so I hung up without further discussion. They did not call back, and I find it insulting that they think people are so gullible.
