Hung up when I answered. Tried to call back and its "user busy".

I am getting sick and tired of these spoof, scam and spam calls not to mention the thousands of scam text messages I get from numbers that can't be described as numbers. Smart phones need to detect and prevent these calls and texts from getting through. It is high time for providers to stop this criminal activity.

This call was another attempt to deceive me, claiming to be from a "Visa/Mastercard security department." It's a well-known scam tactic.

P

The caller asked if they were speaking to me by name. I confirmed with a "speaking," but then they abruptly hung up. I’ve seen others report similar experiences with this number, leading me to believe it could be a tactic to elicit a “yes” response for verification purposes.

C

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Telstra. They said my internet connection has been having issues and asked me to go online and check my internet speed. Their request seemed suspicious to me.
