I received a robo-call that claimed $99.99 had been charged to my bank account for Amazon Prime. The recording instructed me to press 1 to speak to their cancellation department. This clearly isn’t legitimate and appears to be a scam.
Apparently its from National Broadband Network, Offering free National Broadband Network upgrade installation pack.. Free isntallation but then they ask for payment for parts to be delivered to the front door. Told them I'm not interested, they hung up on me.
This number has called my landline several times. We usually do not pick up, as the calls go to voicemail, yet they never leave a message. I believe this is some type of scammer trying to reach us.
The caller claimed to be representing the NBN (National Broadband Network), but I have concerns about the legitimacy of this call.
I received a call from this number claiming to be from the Commonwealth Bank (CBA), asking me if I had made any international transfers. I hung up immediately, feeling suspicious about the call.
Similar to another report, this number called and hung up. I also received an earlier call from (03) 7043 9819.
