I suspect this is a scam regarding Solar Hot Water services, pretending to be from the Victorian Government. A man of South Asian descent came to 'verify' the hot water system but seemed more interested in assessing the property. It's worth noting that both the owner and the neighbor work for the police department and have CCTV cameras installed.
Within a span of just 30 minutes, three different people in my house received a call from this number, raising suspicions about its legitimacy.
Another parasitic call center ringing me again the following day at 7.58 pm. This time the last 3 numbers have changed from 740 to 750. Perhaps these call centers should ring Russia to inform them what's really going on with the war in Ukraine. This way they could actually be doing something positive in trying to end the war. In the mean time, I won't answer the call and will just keep blocking these numbers.

I have no idea who this was as they didn't leave a message. I decided to block the number based on previous comments from other users.

I answered the call and said hello. I always seem to have background noise without any interaction. I asked who is it and to state your business. Person asked for me by my Christian name I asked once again who it is and they hung up. I don’t know why they do this but clearly it’s a scam because if it’s a legitimate business they will tell you who they are.
