    Called me and hung up. Rang back. They said something about a free upgrade. I said not to call my number then they rudely hung up.. I have rung them back 37 times so far just to waste their time. Doing my bit for the community.

    Missed call, no message.

    I checked this site to confirm if it was a dodgy number. So, feeling a little mischievous and up for some fun. I called back. But came up as an unconnected number. Damn.....!!

    Called about solar panels. When it was established that I neither had solar panels on the house, nor was I the home owner she said "thank you" and then hung up. May have been a scam caller.

    Scamming call centre claiming to offer solar rebate. I've told these people countless times I'm not interested and block their number but they call back on another number 1 digit different ffs.

    Very aggressive and sarcastic telemarketer. When I told him he was breaking the law by calling me (I'm on the do not call register) he just kept saying "call them while I wait and I'll talk to them". Gave me a fake name when I asked for his name to report him. Then when I demanded he take my name off his list (he knew my first name) he said he couldn't. Hung up and blocked at that point.

    Claimed to be from solar rebate scheme. Knew my name and they ended the call after asking if I have solar panels and I said I live in an apartment.

    Incoming Call was blocked. No message left. Must be listed as nuisance/scam call or my phone would not have blocked it. I see after reading all the above comments that blocking it was the right call.

    This guy knew my first name which was creepy and just hassled me for 30 seconds when I wouldn't confirm my name. He was dodgy asf and didn't ask anything else or say where he was from, he just wanted to annoy me so I hung up on him.

    Had a few calls from this number. If it was important they’d leave a message, so I reckon it’s just telemarketers.

    Unsolicited call, claiming to be about the solar electricity rebate (I'll take it on face value, but you never know, it might've been a scam call). I told her that I'm on the "do not call" register and said that she has done something illegal by calling my number. Instead of apologising, she hung up, which is pretty rude.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
