This call appeared to be a phishing attempt, as they claimed to be providing an OKX 2FA number and warned me that someone was trying to access my account. It was clearly a scam.
I received the same message regarding a number from a previous report dated 17.02.25. They asked me to press 1 at the end of the call to speak with someone, but I opted to hang up instead.
I received a call about security concerns and charges on my credit card. The caller was using a pre-recorded message with an American accent, and when I didn't fully engage, they hung up on me.
Received a robo call @ 12.15 pm today claiming to be from "banking security"!. Message stated "We have advice that a $300 charge against your account was made with Amazon today. Overnight there was also an international charge of $1000....." I then simply hung up, assuming this to be a scam and blocked the number. I then checked my bank & credit cards (no issues there) so confirmed this as a scam and now reported. Ironically 15 minutes after this call I received another call from 0399706643 and upon checking this number out via Reverse Australia look up, appears to be another scam call and could be linked!!??
