User Reports and Classification

Why This Number is Suspicious

Based on user experiences, it's clear that 03 6275 2627 / 0362752627 should be classified as suspicious for several reasons:

  • Unknown organisation: NSIS does not appear on official records related to superannuation advice, making their attempt to impersonate a legitimate service suspicious.

  • Scam context: Given the recent scams surrounding superannuation in Australia, particularly during the pandemic, users must be cautious of calls that seem too good to be true.

03 6275 2627 from Tassie called around 2pm today saying she was from the NSIS National Superannuation Information Service. I hung up as I have never heard of this name before and I have heard about scammers regarding superannuation and covid_19 early release. I called back after hiding my phone ID and found the number disconnected. Surprise surprise.
