I a Kelly Walker call today for the second time. The voice is clearly a computer generated voice with American accent. Asked me to call 02 6121 4120 urgently to prevent the ATO from taking action against me. This is a scam and I am not calling back.
I have had this call on a weekly basis for the last few months. It is definitely a scam as the ATO would write to you.

Getting calls from this number absolute scam.
My husband called me to say the ATO are after me but, he rang the number and an Indian answered and he quoted my madem name, and told him to tell me to call back tomorrow. I listened to the recording on my answering machine when I got home and it even sounds suss. I will not be calling back.
I get calls daily from this number with a recorded message stating they are from the ATO - the recording is so bad, it is difficult to understand what they are saying. It is obviously a scam - Earlier was getting similar calls from 02 number and now 03 number.
I had the same number leave a message saying to call or get my attorney to call. They were saying their name was officer Kerry (or Terry) Walker from the ATO!!! SCAM!!!!

DO NOT RING THE NUMBER... A male person answered the number... Extremely offensive.
Don't answer the phone id this number appears on your caller id. It is a scam. It is not the ATO. They are telling you that you will have a police officer on your door step for you arrest.
Same thing a recorded monotone voice claiming to be Nicki Johnson from ATO and that I need a lawyer. Over these people.
These so called human beings left muffled message on my phone which I rang only to be yelled at and told they are bringing 'police warrant ' to arrest me because I asked what dept within the ATO they were ringing from. Scam !
Yes this is the number that is calling to tell us that if we do not pay $ 6000 will give us the police come to the door to arrest us.

I have just had the same phone calls over the past 2 weeks. I was suspicious when my phone told me it was an overseas call.. Certainly made me think twice though. I'm glad I found this site! Time to get rid of phones I think!

Received a call from 03 6121 4120 saying there is a urgent matter with tax and she is from the ATO and that I must call back on another number that they provided. At first I thought it might be legit, but didn't respond then they rang back about 1hr latter same message. At this stage I thought this doesn't sound very professional as it was a muffed computer generated voice. A quick Google search brought me to this forum. Don't be fooled by this cheap scam.
Niki Jonson from 0361214120 claiming to be from tax office.
They phoned me on my landline and mobile at work. Same threats about having an injunction against me. They gave me two numbers to call back. (03) 6121 4120 and (03) 6121 4117. I returned the call. I noticed there was no usual ATO spiel and no privacy questions asked. When I asked the Indian man not to yell at me, he called me a F------ B----- so I hung up. The ATO would never swear at anyone. I reported it to the ATO they said it was a scam.
The same thing - they left threatening messages claiming to be from the ATO. When I called they said lawsuit papers had been filed against me. The name left on our answer machine was 'Richard Johnston' when I called I got someone who claimed to be his colleague, name 'John Anderson' though with the strong Indian accent, I wondered about that. When I asked why hadn't I received anything in writing, he hung up on me.
Same thing... Claiming to be from ATO stating that there had been a tax audit between 2009-2013 and they wanted $9.000 dollars from me due to tax anomalies with my returns and that they had filed a lawsuit against me. I stupidly gave them my Tax File Number and name/address before I started to feel something wasn't quite right. I ended the call and called the ATO (132861) and they confirmed they were not aware of any anomalies/debt and therefore it was probably a hoax call (I'm hoping the fake ATO call me back so I can tell them what I really think of them!!!).
