Got 2 calls from this same idiot too. Left his name and contact details twice but different number each time. Apparently there was a warrant out for my arrest for tax evasion and fraud. I reported it to the ato. They are aware of him. Just ignore him.

I also received a message left on my mobile - threatening me. The voice (with an accent) said I must contact immediately; do not disregard..etc.

Left another message. Same voice but different number.

I got this call twice, I just hung up as it is obviously a scam. The taxation office would call you themselves and/or send a letter out to your address.

I would ignore.

Worst scam ever.

I also got this call this morning an hour later I received the same call on an unknown number it concerns me that older people would get frightened by these calls and give info unintentionally.

Do not call them back or answer them. This is a SCAM trying to state that they are from the TAXATiON OFFICE and get your personal information.

I also received a call today from this number. It was an automated recording advising I was wanted for tax evasion and I needed to call them or have my lawyer call them warning of trouble should I not do as they advised.

I received recorded message that says I am investigated for tax evasion etc. I then hang up the call. I think the Taxation Office would not contact me like this way.

I received phone call, which I didn't answer. They left a message saying I was wanted on Tax evasion, and that there was a warrant out for my arrest! They claimed that either myself, or my lawyer needs to phone back and that I should take this seriously and NOT ignor.
