I answered a call from this number, which supposedly originated from Buffalo, Victoria. However, when I picked up, the caller hung up. When I tried to return the call, I was told the number was unavailable due to "temporary service difficulties." This number appears to have been phished.
I experienced a lengthy wait before the call was answered by someone with a heavy accent, which suggested it was a call center. When I expressed skepticism about having an NBN issue, the caller abruptly hung up. This behavior was very rude! Fortunately, my router (Fritz) allows me to block multiple numbers at once, so I will be preventing this caller from reaching me again.
The call I received went to voicemail, but as soon as the recording started, the caller hung up. This behavior is often characteristic of telemarketers or scam callers.
Glad to know who they are, they are annoying though.
I received a call from this number without a voicemail, and my iPhone indicated that the call came from Ballarat, Victoria.
Fake Telstra spam call about my 'ip address' being turned from private to public.
I received a call with a recorded message, but I didn't wait to hear what it was about and decided to block the number immediately.
Community reports are retained as historical safety signals within the Reverseau telecommunications safety dataset and may reflect different experiences over time.
