The caller stated they were from ARL calling on behalf of PayPal, which I don't have. They requested five points of identification to verify my identity in order to continue the call, which felt very intrusive.
ARL debt collector.
I received a voicemail from this number, but the message was very unclear and difficult to understand. They asked me to call an AI number, which started with 1300. After researching, I found out this number has been reported as a scam debt collector.
This number rang me today and said she was calling from "somewhere" (I missed what she said) on behalf of PayPal. She asked if I would give her my full name and details. I said I wouldn't give details as it may be a scam. She said I could just ring PayPal which she couldn't give me the number for and she said she would send me a letter about the issue. I said 'an email?', she replied,
'no, a mailbox letter'.
Ah, I will wait for this 'mail box' letter I think.
