What Our Users Reviewed
I received an email claiming to be from PayPal, and it listed this phone number as their contact. I did not call the number, as I suspect it may be associated with a scam.
Scam call, supposedly a paid PayPal invoice with a link to a customer help number in Victoria Australia.
Received by a family member travelling in Europe who forwarded it to me to check what it was.
Automatically realised it was a scam due to the so called customer help number to call. Delete if you get one!
The exact same thing happened to me on the same day too except for the flurry of calls. It's a local number close to me but obviously being re routed.
Customer Help Line Number+61 3 5294 0840 appears to be linked to a PayPal scam. On 27th July, after receiving a spurious email, supposedly from PayPal - which I never use, I called the Customer Help Line number and was advised to start a "refund" process on-line; when I hung up, there was a flurry of calls from the USA, from multiple numbers, for the next 10 minutes or so. Highly suspicious!
I encountered another phishing scam that involves requests related to PayPal and Bitcoin. Please be aware of these tactics.
