Definitely a scam... Claimed I had a $300 purchase with eBay they were trying to verify to see if I was being scammed. Then attempted to make me change my privacy access etc so they could view anything on my screen at any time, which obviously includes bank details.

03 4334 1544 called and left a message saying my Optus service was incomplete and my contract will expire in 2 hours if I don't call back. SPAM.

The caller claimed to be from my mobile phone provider, stating that "Your mobile phone has abnormal usage and will be shut down today." They then offered options to continue the conversation in English or Chinese. This sounds like a phishing attempt designed to extract personal information.

When legitimate businesses call, they always leave a message if I miss the call. These persistent callers, however, never leave any information, which is incredibly annoying.
