Scam. Pretended to be from the National Broadband Network, and asked me to do a speed test, which supposedly revealed "damage" to my internet connection. "Selena Wilson" told me how to open event viewer which showed about 4,000 error messages which she said was further proof. But I've since found out that's completely normal and nothing to do with the National Broadband Network. When I said I wasn't sure they were legit, she told me how to open the "assoc" folder and, and was able to tell me what the alpha-numeric code on my PC was. Impressive, but also nothing to do with the National Broadband Network. Then the big finish: go to mbhelp. Info and enter a code that SHE TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE. Thats not how 2-factor authentication works! Thanks but no thanks. The National Broadband Network will not call you directly, your service provider deals with them on your behalf. This whole call took about half an hour. I hope this review saves you some time - just hang up straightaway.
