This is a scammers number. I received a text message purporting to be from ANZ Bank and directing me to ring this phone number. I don't have any ANZ Bank accounts and instead I phoned the genuine ANZ Bank phone number, asking them to confirm if this number does in fact belong to ANZ and they confirmed that it isn't an ANZ phone number.
I received a message claiming my direct debit to BMW Finance for $4,950.00 had been successfully scheduled for January 25, 2025. However, the number doesn't seem to exist. They included a call-back number, (03) 4232 3118, for inquiries if this wasn't regarding me.
