    These guys are scammers claiming to be from the ATO threatening to arrest you if you don’t pay up. They are known to make rape and death threats to you as well as using bullying tactics. They already scammed 2.3million dollars from innocent Australians. These people are scum.

    Missed the call, but they left a message in a computerized voice stating there was a lawsuit being filed under my name, most definitely a scam as if it was real they would of either sent a letter or actual police officers would be serving me the papers at my door.

    Today I had a missed call with a message left on my message bank. The message was an automated robot voice saying a case had been filed against me and I had to call back on that number immediately or they would “get me arrested “.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
