I receive at least two calls from 03 area codes daily, and I choose not to answer them as they appear to be unwanted calls.
Claims to be a charity group that can override DNC list & call private numbers.
Assertive didn't want to end to call without the pitch so I did.
Based on reports from others, this number appears to be involved in a wine scam. Shortly before, I had received a call from an 03 number. We have since added a message to our answering machine indicating that we are monitoring our calls and will not answer calls from unknown numbers anymore. It's become extremely frustrating.
Chap calling from this number identified himself as from My Charities Survey... Very suspicious.
The caller ID identified this number as "The Wine Group," but they were disguised as "My Charities Survey" when calling. This may be a spoofed number attempting to mislead recipients.
I missed a call from this number, and my phone flagged it as spam. Since I saw many negative reviews about it, I'm going to block it now.
These callers are very persistent, but thankfully my phone is able to detect their calls as spam, so I don't actually receive any ringing notifications.
Scammer just block it.
