I received a call this afternoon. It was a recorded message claiming to be the commonwealth bank & that a large illegal transaction was being attempted & I should call their number to stop it. Oh No! However the stupid scammer did not know I don't bank with the Commonwealth & even if I did I wouldn't click on any link or call a number they gave me. Definitely a scam just hang up, block & delete.

I received a call this afternoon from a recorded message that claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank. The message stated that a large illegal transaction was being attempted and instructed me to call a specific number to stop it. However, I found it suspicious because I don't have an account with the Commonwealth Bank, and even if I did, I would never call a number given in such a message. This is definitely a scam, so I advise everyone to hang up, block the number, and delete it from your call history.
