Received a call claiming to be Telstra offering 40% off on mobile phone deal.
Another SCAM.. This by a person claiming to be from the DO NOT CALL REGISTER, telling me my they will renew my registration from next week, She knew my actual name Only Initials and Surname and postcode, (Which they probably got from an old phone book). Needing to confirm some details.. Trying to get my card number.. But saying they are not selling me anything. Then claiming it will cost me a $200 cancellation fee to remove me from the register. She talked faster and faster trying to get me to stay on the line.. Typical call centre voice and tactic.
Just BEWARE.
Hung up when I answered.
