Electricity deal scam, insistent, rude, I bloody hate them.
I received a call from this number but they left no message. When I tried to return the call, I received a recording stating that the number is not available from my phone, indicating it’s likely a scam.
The caller stated that I had missed an important message from the government. They began to present different options for communication, but I decided to hang up before they finished.
Telstra scam.
SCAM Indian accent calling about lowering energy, have called me 5 times this week.
Some thing about electricity. Knew it was a scam straight away when it took a second or 2 for someone to speak.
Had old information of a postcode I no longer reside at. Was hesitant when I said I’ve never “lived there”
As soon as I say I rent and “don’t” pay electricity or gas and the landlord does they hung up on me. Major scam.
Had multiple calls and very pushy they are of Indian extraction and very pushy to the point of being rude.
This is another call centre trying to sell energy plans that they believe are cheaper. When you tell them that you are not interested, they persist and become very, very pushy and they only way to get rid of them is hang up but you will need to block the number, or they ring back. (same voice but they use a different name)
