    I keep getting calls from this number but my motto is not to answer or call back unless they leave a message, I've also just joined Australian Super but if it's legit and they want to talk to me then they''ll need to leave a message.

    I spoke to this guy with heavy indian accent, only wanting to "confirm" my info before willing to provide me any info. I told him I will call Australian Super if I need any help and ended the call.

    Got a call, informed they are calling from Australian Super. Wanted to ask personal details and I said no. Let me call Australian Super directly. Not sure if legit or not but don't want to even try.

    They always leave a message, so if unsure and there is no message then don't return the call. It must be a call number allocated to some super funds by the looks of it.

    Representative from Link Market Services. Called back for a query I had put in. It does have a silent period for about a minute after you pick up for some reason.

    A female caller purporting to be a representative from Australian Super left a voicemail wanting to speak with me. She stated my full name. This is a concern given that I own one of their products. I called Australian Super, and they had no record that a representative called me. I attempted to call the number, but they ended my call each time.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
