User Reports and Analysis

Based on feedback from users, it is clear that this number is primarily used for spam purposes. Here are the key elements that raised red flags:

  • Recorded Messages: Recipients of calls from this number reported being greeted by a robotic voice rather than a real person. Such tactics are typical of spam calls, designed to create urgency or confusion.
  • Deceptive Claims: The strategy of threatening disconnection of broadband services within a short timeframe is a common tactic employed by scammers to instil a sense of fear, encouraging individuals to engage without fully understanding the legitimacy of the call.

No rang me out a the blue with a recorded message on there that my National Broadband Network would be disconnected in a day if I don't press 1. Go thru to call rep. Ask him what company is he from. National Broadband Network Co. National Broadband Network Co, I say, which company exactly. He couldn't answer me so I hung up. Called No back. There is no one at the end of that line, just says disconnected. Defo SOAMMER.
