Just got a call from this number and he was saying hes from Google. And asked my name and then hanged up. Just wondering can they hack my banking info?
If you got a missed call from this number you need to block it immediately. After calling me about half a dozen time I finally answered, and politely told them I wasn't interested in what they were selling. This just made them more aggressive. I started getting several calls per day, asking them each time to stop calling me. Eventually the calls became abusive and I had to block their number, but this just made them call me off a different number. You need to block this number as soon as you see it; don't give them any chance to get their foot in the door.
Jeremy from Search it Local convinced me to undertake a trial with his company. He assured me that if I was unhappy with the service, it would not be renewed. The service was ineffective, so naturally I did not want to renew it. Before I know what happened I get slammed with a $590 renewal fee. When I called to complain the company said the sent me an email saying if I didn't want the service renewed I would have to opt out in writing. Either I never got this email, or it went to my junk folder. In any case, Jeremy assured me the service was opt-int rather than opt out.
Ineffective service. Scammed into renewed payment. Lodging an ACCC complaint.

Received a call from a man with an accent so strong I couldn't even understand he was actually saying 'Google', which I only realised after looking up the number on here. If you can't even communicate in English, maybe telemarketing is too big a challenge for you.

This company (who claimed they are their own company - not working for Google) called finding out if I was interested in search engine optimisation for my Google business page, not even my own website.
I played along with it and was seeing what he had to offer. In the end he basically wanted me to start on a six month plan for $680. I think this is a bit rich for a Google+ business page, which you could adjust content mostly yourself anyway.
Do your self a favour. If hes ringing you im guessing you have a business and advertise online in some way. Go to accc scam watch site and report this number. He claims he is emedia.

Ring every day until you answer or block there number.. They are marketing for Google. Scams.
Told this company today to remove me from their calling list as they have been ringing me everyday. They have now taken all my online ads off Google making my phone not ring at all. If this number rings you be very polite then after you hang up block their number. They remove you on Google so you pay them for Google advertising. Very dodgy business practices.

He was looking at my web page but using wrong search phrases I don't want to use, and so not finding me on Google page 1. Told him correct phrases. Then he found me. Said I'm not interested.
