Said it was John from Vodafone offering a 40% discount on my plan and then 60% off for a year. If it was Vodafone, I'd get a notification in my app and maybe emails or other things. This was out of the blue and sounds ridiculous.

Their voice line sounded grainy and he said he needed my Vodafone pin number to send me a text message which doesn't sound right at all. If it was Vodafone, they could just do that anyway and give other details other than a name (he just repeated his name and said "don't worry"). He then said he was from Telstra. How can they be Vodafone and Telstra? Kept pushing the pin number and even laughed at me for asking for more info. Seems like a scam.
