    One of my weekly scammer phone call number. I knew because they call me weekly, always leave the same background noise voicemail, always call me again the second time down to the exact minute, even Samsung Smart Caller ID, identify this as scammer. Don't pick up. Remember telemarketer don't have these kind of pattern, they don't have that many phone number.

    Some random dude said "hello", the connection was really poor, I answered "hello, who is this?" And the man either said "Dude I'm so dead" Or "dude you're so dead" couldn't tell due to poor connection. He then instantly disconnected.

    SCAM. Voice message left claiming to be Nicole from the Australian National Broadband Network. They have been trying to contact me and are going to disconnect my line and internet connection in the next 24 hours as National Broadband Network is now available in my area unless I talk to a technician.

    I just had this number call my mobile number - 13:23 PM Friday Feb 4th.2022.

    I was busy at the time, and didn't answer. The number looked a bit suspicious. I am constantly harassed by some scam or another, so instead of calling back, I came here.

    Thanks for the heads up! BLOCKING them now.

    Scam number, someone else mentioned Iran. I got a call from Iran within the hour too. Definitely avoid this number.

    I answered this number thinking that it may be from a local government agency or something. They hung up when I answered. Immediately afterwards, received a number from Iran. Seems fishy. I ignored the call from Iran and then proceeded to block both numbers.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
