The phone rang for a brief two seconds, and I didn’t get a chance to answer. I’ve decided it’s best not to initiate calls from unknown numbers.
A so called research on television. I politely declined and hung up and blocked the number. These calls come right on dinner time and are extremely annoying. It may be legit but I seriously doubt it with the amount of scams around these days.
The caller introduced himself clearly and mentioned he was conducting television marketing research. I politely declined as I was busy and hung up, then I blocked the number. Such calls seem to frequently occur during dinner time, which can be quite disruptive. I classify these calls as extremely annoying.
When I returned the call, I got a recorded message introducing themselves as "Cantar Research Centre." They requested that I leave my contact details for a call back. Due to this experience, I have decided to block the number on my mobile phone.
When I answered this call, the caller hung up immediately. It seems suspicious, perhaps they are making calls to check for active numbers. I plan to block this number.
