The common characteristics from the reviews point towards unwanted calls made at odd hours, continued hunger for information surrounding banking, and ambiguous affiliations that raise red flags. • Lack of Messaging: Users frequently stated that there were no messages left, signalling that the intention may not be genuine but rather a method of persistent interruption.
  • Confusing Claims of Legitimacy: The call's attributed agency, like Newcastle Permanent Building Society, has explicitly denied links to this number, illustrating a likely attempt to mislead recipients into believing the legitimacy of the survey.

I received a call from 0291843892 at 8:27 pm, but didn't answer as it was after 6 pm. I don't answer unknown numbers after 6 pm and I didn't enter any competition. So, it could be either charity scam or survey/telemarketer (I hate those two due to there BS guilt trip and I am on a Pension).
