A caller identified themselves as being from Amnesty International, thanking me for my past donations and discussing current initiatives. When I informed them that I didn’t have time to talk, they continued trying to engage me and mentioned they might call back later.

I received a call from this number where the caller was trying to solicit donations for varying organizations, including Amnesty International one day and Canteen the next. When I questioned the caller about how they reached me, as I don’t own a phone, he sounded confused. I eventually decided to block the number as I felt it was suspicious.

Company calling on behalf of Canteen Nz, seems to be a calling service for charities trying to get you to up your donations, be wary if you don’t want to increase & find it hard saying no to those types of calls.

I have been receiving numerous phone calls from this number while in New Zealand, but they never leave any voicemails. I was able to answer one call, but it was an automated system that kept me on hold, indicating that their time is prioritized over mine.
