Received a call two hours ago from 02 9170 2323. They have been trying to reach me the past two weeks but, was reluctant to answer thinking it was a scammer. When I answered today, the chap that I spoke to introduced himself as John from a survey group (can't recall the name). They are doing a survey on households in Australia. It was a five-minute survey (more or less). He asked for the area code where I live, my age, my education level. Was asked if I have travelled overseas in the past three months, have travelled anywhere in Australia the last few weeks (?) and do I travel 50kms away from home on a regular basis. He asked how many people living in my household and the combined income. Asked if I owned another mobile phone apart from the one he rang on and who was my provider. Sounded legit but, who knows. Didn't ask my bank account details so hopefully it was indeed legit or else I'm puzzled. When you see this particular number come up on your phone answer it but, don't give your name. Probably should have asked some more questions regarding the survey but, didn't because I'm a dodo. Hope this helps.
