I received a call from This number stating it was bank of Melb and that a fraudulent transaction has been made attempting to add my card to Apple Pay in the last 10 min and dud I authorize that.
They knew my full name at the start of the call. I listened to a privacy announcement and he continued on. I asked what was being attempted for purchase but he said let me look. I see it was a Samsung ph on Google wallet no mobile number. Did you get a message from us? I said no but you advised it was Apple Pay then he said I said apple or Samsung which he didn’t say. He said I need to cancel your card. I said what’s your name Ganesh. What’s the reference number? There is none he said. I said why he said and you should have got a message on your Samsung phone. A new card will be sent to your residential address in 5 days. Thank bye.
