I received 2 calls on my landline, one on 5 July 2023 at 12.28 pm, and the other on 3 June 2023 at 12.25 pm.
The caller made no response when I answered the call, but cancelled the call after about 5 to 10 seconds.
Same characteristics as calls from 0291610059.
Scammer.
They call themselves Energy Savers, and they are continually calling from different numbers wanting to get me to sign up and get my lights, hot water etc changed to energy efficient equipment mostly subsidised by the Government. They use the cheapest and useless products they can get to maximise their profits. No matter how many times I tell them I am an electrician and have already changed all my lights and requested them not to call me back. They still keep calling and harassing. So now I just abuse them and hopefully they will get the message.
Definitely SPAM. Called 3 times in a few days.... I didn't answer. I'm expecting an important call so called back: "I would like to speak to the owner of the business" When told I am not a business they hung up.
Asked to speak to owner of business, knew it was a scam so told them I would put them through, put them on hold and they hung up.
I have repeatedly asked Energy Upgrades to stop calling me, and even blocked their number, yet I continue to receive robo calls from them. When I called them back, they confirmed that it was the same company harassing me. As my phone number is a business line, I cannot register it on the do-not-call list. I am frustrated by the lack of legal protection against this kind of harassment.
