My number is on the do not call register. The caller was advised 3 times that it is a crime for her to call my number and that she is, therefore, a criminal. Despite being aware of the crime she was committing, she persisted in attempting to read her sales script. She has no interest in anything I said, as demonstrated when I had twice announced my name and she then asked me to confirm my name. Her forcing her way into my home by phone, ignoring every word I said, and persisting in re-starting her sales script each time I stopped speaking is totally offensive. When is our government going to get serious with criminal telemarketers by blocking their numbers and setting appropriate minimum terms of imprisonment for their crimes?
