I was contacted by individuals claiming to be from a support team regarding my PayPal account. They pretended that there were fraudulent transactions being processed from overseas and asked me to authorize the cancellation of these transactions using a code they would send. They wanted me to download an app to assist in this process. I recognized this as a scam, hung up, and verified directly with PayPal.
