Guy with accent rang and said he was from electricity company and used my name and said I was to get discount. Was confused as had rung for discount. He then asked if I was living at my business address, which alerted me to a scam. I asked where he was from and said “ we work for multiple companies”. I then hung up as obviously scammer.

Wasn’t sure as I had just arranged a discount on my home bill, but cancelled a business electricity account. He then asked if I lived at my business address and I said no, then said was I in NSW (I said no). At this point I thought he was a scammer and asked which company he was from and he said they work with multiple companies. I hung up then as obviously a scammer.
