Can confirm this is the AEC calling. I have registered to work at the next Election and they called to follow up on an email sent.
They left a voicemail saying they're calling from the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) about the new employment system and to remind me to register. Can validate this because I received an email from AEC a few days ago about this.
I as called twice within seconds of the first. A message was left on the second call asking me to call back on 889203 regarding Mrs Tyler. It didn’t make sense to me, guessed it’s probably a scam. Didn’t call back.
