Fraudulent call claiming to be from Telstra internet. They said that suspicious activity from foreign IPs had been detected on my internet connection and sought to get me to give them remote access to my computer so they could resolve the issue. Caller hung up immediately when I told them I worked at Telstra and knew that this was a fraudulent call.
Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Telstra, saying my mobile service’s gone dodgy and trying to freak me out about my internet. Hung up before I could tell him where to shove it!
Another Saturday am scam call from the usual (02) 9099 prefix. No message is left - which says scammer straight away. They always change the last 4 numbers of the phone number to stay ahead of the who called searches. Just don’t answer and block.
