Same: Jack Gates from the ATO left a message. Just another annoying scam!
I have also received a call from Jack Gates stating criminal charges against me for tax evasion asking me to call back on the same number 02 9098 4732.
I've had several calls from a jerk going by the name Rick Foster.... He is Asian, and I can hardly understand him. He also goes on about being charged for criminal tax avoidance, and that my case has been lodged with a court house in my area. I suspect it is a total scam, and have no intentions on calling the 02 9098 4732 that he continues to leave.
I'm not sure what happens if you call the number, has anyone called it?
As above, playing the ATO Scam (also can be AFP) I'm not jack gates and neither is the dickwad leaving the nuisance message... The scam goes that they ask for money as settlement and to drop charges.
I have also received three messages in my land line from this Jack Gates stating that criminal charges have been taken against me for tax avoidance. The number is - 02 90984732, I have been told that if you dial the number it gives them access to all your details and banking details. Does anyone know if this is correct?
