This is a SCAM CALLER! I didn't answer the call (it originated from Sydney), but they left a message instructing me to press 1 if I authorized a transaction or 2 if I did not.
A caller pretending to be from Visa and Master was on the line, and she had an Indian accent. Her lack of professionalism as a scammer is striking, especially since Visa and MasterCard are two different companies!
This is a scam call. I urge everyone not to answer. It's astonishing that some individuals choose to exploit others for a living. Instead, they could pursue legitimate professions like car sales, real estate, law, politics, or corporate management. They contribute nothing of value to society.
A caller rang my mobile and immediately knew my name. He claimed to be from Australia Post and said my details had been linked to stolen cheque books, asking if I was involved in any criminal activities.
