This number called my home phone and played an automated message claiming to be from Telecom, stating there was an issue with our phone. It instructed me to press 1 to resolve it. I had just used the phone three times prior, and there were no issues, leading me to believe this was a scam call.
After answering on the third ring, the caller took a moment to recognize I was on the line. They proceeded to claim that a large sum of money was transferred using my Mastercard to a company in the US, but they didn’t disclose the company’s name. I suspect this is a scam.

A scammer claimed to be from Telstra and attempted to persuade me to grant them remote access to my home network. I don't even use Telstra, and the call came from out of state on a weekend. Additionally, the caller's English was not very good, which made me doubt their legitimacy.
Possible scam.
A female with a thick Indian accent and who claimed to be from the security department of visa and Mastercard told me there had been a withdrawal from my account at 4.00 am today for $300 - told her she was a scammer and she hung up. Checked accounts and there was no unauthorised card use.
