This number calls me almost daily, along with several others mentioned by other users. I answered once weeks ago, thinking it was a plumber returning my call, but it turned out to be an Indian lady who knew my name and falsely claimed to be from my electricity company. I immediately hung up, but since then, the calls have continued relentlessly.
A person claiming to represent Visa/Mastercard contacted me and mentioned a charge of $13xx from my account. They instructed me to download Anydesk Remote Desktop from the Apple app store to "help" me. Whenever someone requests remote access to your computer, smartphone, or tablet, it's a clear indication of a scam. I hung up immediately.
