Been getting calls from this guy who calls himself John Rollings for 18 months or more. Always with the same spiel. "Calling from the windows security department." There's no such department. He doesn't give up. I've hung up, told him to go to..... wherever! He calls around either 3.00 in the afternoon or around 6.00 at night. Big scam for sure!

61290710252 as well as 61290712986 have been trying to call me since 3 months. And I have realised after my first 2 pick up, that once you identify yourself, they hang up or go on about something either you don't own, or straight up jump onto saying " unauthorised activity has been noted on your desktop computer", and they either have your first name right, or get your name wrong completely.

It a full on scam. And pissing me off. Thought would reverse search for these numbers, and looks like I am not the only one who has been getting these.

I had a phone call from this number as well as a Sydney number 07 21116579. Both numbers are the same Indian person.

Tried to say that I had purchased an iPhone 7 that cost $399 through an Amazon account.

Firstly, I do not have an Amazon account (I even checked the Amazon login and it says put in your email and mobile number to log in) I put in my mobile number and it said that number didn’t exist on the Amazon service.

Secondly, why the hell would I purchase an iPhone 7 when I have an iPhone 13 max pro? Why would I downgrade?

Third, you got my name wrong on the initial pick up on top of that you didn’t say who you were (what company?). If you’re gonna scam somebody get yourself organised first!

This number and the number I listed is the same person because he tried phoning me back immediately three or four times and each time it kept flipping back between Brisbane and Sydney for the numbers.
