This is a scam they said it was Commonwealth Bank Security checking to see if a 500 dollar transaction was done, as soon as I questioned them they hung up, an asian womens voice with a lot of background noise. HANG STRAIGHT UP ITS A SCAM. Why can't they get a proper job like everyone else.
I'm receiving constant calls from this and other similar numbers, and they never leave a message. I answered once, and it was clearly a call center; the representative couldn't understand my accent.
Called twice. First time answered and said nothing then hung up. Called again and claimed to be Mastercard/Visa representative trying to confirm whether I had spent a certain amount of money. Hung up at that point.

The caller claimed to be from Victorian Energy, offering free NBN upgrades. They appeared to know personal details about me, including that I use LED lights and receive a $250 energy rebate. I felt uneasy and hung up, then blocked the number.
Call from 0290709653 by some woman claiming to be from Telstra. Sounding very urgent and panicked saying my computer is hacked and the IP address is open to the public and she wanted to help fix the computer. Detected Scam and hung up.
Be careful people.99.99% of calls from a random caliming to help you are just scams. Don't give money gift cards or anything to anyone that cold calls. The 0.01% that are genuine, won't ask for money!
I didn't recognize a call from this Sydney number, and they did not leave a message. After calling the number back quickly, I received a recorded message stating that the number was not connected. I decided to block this number after this encounter.
I suspect this is a scam call. The person had an Indian accent and was trying to talk about something related to "Visa and Mastercard," but I couldn't fully understand what they were saying.
The caller claimed I made a purchase from Chile and needed to authorize it using the same card. When I probed further and asked if he was from India, he abruptly hung up. Definitely a scam!

This was another unsolicited call from a scammer who falsely claimed that my NBN connection was slow and that I needed to log in to make adjustments. I am not even connected to NBN and have since blocked the number.

I chose to hang up, believing it to be a scam. I urge everyone to be cautious with such calls.
The caller claimed to be from a spyware company, saying my Visa had been charged $1400. When I asked whether they were legitimate, the caller responded in an inappropriate manner. This feels like a scam attempt.
This is a scam call where the caller fraudulently claimed to be from the Technical Department at Telstra, stating there was an issue with our internet service. I recognized it as a scam immediately since we use a different service provider for our internet and promptly hung up.

Scam call asking to resolve a fraudulent credit card charge! Been getting at least one or two lately!
They rang twice in 5 minutes. Once a woman claiming to be Commonwealth Bank asking about an international charge. The second was a man claiming to be from Telstra saying I was being hacked. I don't have any accounts with either companies. Hung up when I started laughing at them.
I received a call from this number, a similar number (02) 9070 9691 called me about 2 hours earlier, and neither caller left a message. The calls came in at unusual times, 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM on a Saturday, which is typically when I would expect calls from people I know. I suspect these numbers are related.

Scammer - Gentleman indicating I had a suspect charge on my credit card. Hangup once I started asking hard questions.

Scam caller: She said she's Rose from National Broadband Network.
Just received a call from this number. It was clearly a call centre, the "gentleman" had an Arabic accent. He introduced himself as Steve Roger and said he was callling from my National Broadband Network (dead giveaway - there is no National Broadband Network number connected to the phone number he dialed).
I kept saying "Hello", "Hello" and he started insulting me. Calling me an a-hole, and a muver fackerrr with a strong r.
How nice!
