I received a call from two individuals claiming to be from eBay, asserting that there were unauthorized orders placed on my account. They urged me to click on an unknown link to check my IP address. This is undoubtedly a scam.
I was contacted by someone claiming to represent eBay. They informed me that my IP address was public and that someone was attempting to make a purchase using my personal information.
