    I requested a call back from UBank via IVR and when they returned my call the number flagged up as suspected spam. I told the person calling back this and they said he's been told this 3-4 times this week already.

    Supposedly from ubank responding to an email. But I hadn't sent one.. I had however just done something online involving ubank. Asked for personal info which I refused to give. Sounds like a scam.

    Missed a call from (02) 9058 7400. Called Ubank via the number through the banking application. They checked their system and had no record of calling me. I would say this is a call from a scammer and the rest of these comments in here are faked by the same people.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
