Number 0290520329 - call stated 4299-99 would be deducted rom our account and to press 1,2 or 3 to cancel etc.
Very much a scam call.
Seems like a scam, saying a transaction is going through of $299.99.
Claimed to be from eBay about a fraudulent transaction involving a $299.99 gift card, obvious automated call not tailored for me
I tried to return call but got a message from the telephone company " Due to service difficulties we can not connect... etc.
Picked up after several rings, caller hung up immediately.
Typical scam - you can hear it connect on their end after you say “hello”
Claiming from Telstra - needed me to check my speeds then wanted me to then tell him the speeds because apparently our speeds have been down the last few days.
I told him he should know the speeds but he said he wouldn’t tell me because of privacy.
We don’t use Telstra as our internet provider, and I’m not the account holder (I’m the secondary holder lol)
Rang but no message, suspected spam
