I got a call from this number claiming to confirm a $200 payment for an eBay purchase. I recognized this as a scam, so I hung up immediately—it’s completely fraudulent.
The caller seemed untrustworthy. They identified themselves as part of a main office and provided the number (02) 8023 8308 for callbacks, but we decided against returning the call due to our doubts about their legitimacy.
I confirmed that this call was legitimate as it was from Microsoft. I spoke directly with their team from Microsoft Dynamics 365, whom I have been in contact with for some time.
This number repeatedly calls us, claiming they want to discuss our Microsoft license as its expiration approaches. I informed them that we've assigned the task to our IT department and don't require their advice, but they just hung up. Unfortunately, they continue to call back days later and repeat the same annoying conversation.
The caller sounded very suspicious and was asking a lot of questions. It seemed like they could have hacked into the Microsoft user database to call everyone associated with it.
I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft regarding our licenses. When I requested a callback number, they gave me (03) 9115 7338. I asked where in Melbourne they were located, but they mentioned "North Sydney." When I pointed out that North Sydney is not in Melbourne, the caller abruptly hung up. I suspect this is a scam. Proceed with caution if you receive a call from this number.
I’ve received repeat calls from this number, totaling five calls in just two days. They leave long voicemails that last several minutes, but there is no actual message. Sometimes, I can hear someone breathing or sniffing in the background, which makes me feel like they are just wasting time and pretending to be productive rather than delivering a genuine message.
I received a call from someone named "Ski," who claimed to be from Microsoft, stating that our software license was about to expire. When I asked to call them back, they offered me a number, but I insisted on searching for Microsoft’s official contact number instead. This seemed to frustrate "Ski," but I emphasized that verifying independently is the best way to avoid potential scams.
This caller seems like someone trying to sell a product or service. I simply put the call on mute and wait for them to hang up.

Scam call centre operating in India. Spoofed Caller ID. Purporting to be Microsoft. Very sophisticated scam. Highly convincing. But not convincing enough. Microsoft NEVER cold call customers.
Do not disclose or 'confirm' any personal or financial details. Do not give details of your IP address or download any software or allow remote access to your devices.
Do not answer any calls or return any missed calls from these scammers.
The caller talked about Microsoft licenses, but I quickly hung up, and they did not attempt to call back.
A female caller identified herself as being from Microsoft and asked about our budget for licensing for the year 2022. When I requested that she send an email, she provided an address I rarely use. However, I didn't receive any email following the call. I'm aware that Microsoft does not conduct cold calls to inquire about budgets. After researching the phone number online, I found this website, which I think is an excellent service.
