    (02) 9032 5609 rang both my mobile and land line, but hung up before I could answer the phone. Did not take the call when I rang back.

    I have been getting these calls too. It is a fundraising agency 2evolve, they partner with different charities. If you email contacts@2evolve.com.au then someone will take you off the list.

    I've had two calls from this number which have woken me up at 3 am or thereabouts as I'm overseas. They don't leave a message. I've blocked them.

    This number calls me a lot. I thought it was electricity wizard but now I am not so sure. Today right after I missed a call, I got a text message from 61290325609 missed call service saying "Oh my god". I can't stop laughing about it actually.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
