    I have been receiving calls from this number once or twice a day recently, but I do not have any contract with Vodafone at all. Spam it!

    The call then silence... Obviously a scam. I suspect they are harvesting my voice to use with voice-altering software - their voice is converted into my voice by the software. This is extremely dangerous.

    I am getting regular calls from this number for the few days. My phones shows suspected spam call so I didn't replied. It is becoming annoying.

    Have been receiving calls between 4pm and 8pm from this number for several days now, finally called it back. Got a recorded message saying it was Vodafone and they had been trying to contact me, press 1 to speak to an operator. I hung up and rang Vodafone, on the number I already had for them. Was told Vodafone does not contact customers after 5pm and keeps a record of all attempts and call to their customers, the gentleman check and told me no one from Vodafone had tried to contact me since 2018, he suggested I report the number to the ACMA.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
