    This number is obviously spoofed by scammers. How do I know?, the number was automatically blocked by my phone, recognised as a scam call. Vodafone wouldn't block their own calls that would defeat business. As I have said on many occasions, the simplest explanation is more often than not the actual truth. No $#!? Sherlock.

    I’m a long time Vodafone customer and any time they have contacted me about offers it’s been through text from their official text number or emailed. There are lot of email scams using seemingly legit Vodafone email addresses. I regularly check their scam alert page too.m.

    I'm not with Vodafone at all and never have been. So why are they calling me asking for my details? Because it's a scam.

    Even if it is vodafone, they should NOT be doing this, and it is all just to try to sell you other plans. Don't answer because the way they do this is so unprofessional and risky!

    This is a genuine Vodafone number (02) 9015 3801... It is listed on their website as a safe number.

    Definitely not Vodafone because they straight up asked for my pin when I picked up the call... if they are calling you then they should already have your info and not need to request about anything that is your info, it doesn’t help when you call the help desk 1300 650 410 where it sounds like they have looped some kind of background noise.

    Vodafone scam. They use the correct phone from their website but scammers can do that. They mask their numbers like that. They ask for PIN right away. Don't answer.

    It's listed as a vodafone number, yes, but scammers have cloned the number. Vodafone have said multiple times that they don't ask for your pin, straight away, like all these peoplr have had done. Vodafone refuses to change/update the number. If YOU call this number, you'll get the real company. If THEY call you on this number, it's the cloned number, as they know nothimg about you.

    Someone calls and says he is calling from Vodafone, he will ask for your pin but I forgot. When I called Vodafone, they said I was going to be scammed by this number so don’t give anyone your pin not even Vodafone customer care.

    I put this in the Google search window "Vodafone (02) 9015 3801" Here is the link to the search vodafone.com.au/support/notify/customer-care Vodafone website states that this is one of the numbers that they use to contact customers. There is also a list of other numbers that they use. So, ask yourself are you a current Vodafone customer?

    Whilst this phone number is listed on Vodafone's website that doesn't mean that it is them ringing you, phone numbers can be spoofed, if the phone call is unsolicited meaning you didn't request a call back for some reason it could still be a scam and I don't think Vodafone would ask for your PIN from a cold call. I blocked the number.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
