Delivery Impersonation Scam Reports for 02 9003 1310

Community reports for 02 9003 1310 (also written as 0290031310) show a mixed pattern. One contributor reported a clear delivery impersonation scam where a caller claimed to be outside their house with a delivery from Larry's Lunch dog food, stating the order was £2 short and demanding additional payment. The caller used urgency tactics and requested personal information to complete the supposed transaction. Notably, the call came from a NSW number to a Victoria recipient, and the caller's use of British currency (pounds) was a red flag that raised immediate suspicion.

In contrast, several other reports identify 02 9003 1310 as a legitimate delivery service number, with contributors confirming successful deliveries from Hello Fresh, Farm Door, and YouFoodz. However, a significant number of callers from this number leave only music when called back, and some don't leave voicemails despite multiple contact attempts.

This number is ok, I have YouFoodz and they wanted to confirm my business location, that's all. This number is safe to answer.

Expexted delivery driver. Was supposed to leave parcel at door which has been fine on previous occasions. Didn't leave a message and music only when calling back, unable to speak to anyone or leave my own message. Who knows where my parcel is now. Very annoyed!

Had several missed calls from this number early in the morning. I was hesitant to answer. They rung again I answered and it was a delivery man for our Hello fresh box - he was confused where to leave it as I stated on my order “under the garage out of the sun” but we also have a few sheds & he wasn’t sure which one.

I went outside and he was there waiting with box:)

They called, the phone rung 3 times - it ended before I could pick up. When I called back I was met with music. Almost like hold music, didn't stick around long enough to see if it was a scam or not. They also didn't leave a message.

A man said he was outside my house with a delivery from Larry’s Lunch dog food and that the order was £2 short. Coming from a nsw number to a vic number the pound thing was interesting. I basically told him to bugger off.

Legitimate caller.

The caller was delivering an order to me from Farm Door. Unfortunately his poor English made him difficult to understand and I initially thought he was a scam call.

Delivery guy was confused about which building to deliver box. Once that was cleared my box was delivered a few mins later.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why did the caller from 02 9003 1310 claim to be short payment in pounds?

One contributor received a call from 02 9003 1310 claiming a dog food delivery was £2 short. The use of British currency (pounds) instead of Australian dollars was highly suspicious and suggested the scammer was either working from overseas or using a script not tailored to Australian customers. This is a common indicator of a delivery impersonation scam where fraudsters pose as drivers demanding payment corrections.

Is 0290031310 associated with legitimate delivery services?

Yes, several contributors have confirmed legitimate deliveries from 0290031310 using services like Hello Fresh, Farm Door, and YouFoodz. However, the scam report indicates this number may have been spoofed or compromised by scammers. Always verify unexpected payment requests by hanging up and calling the food service directly using their official website contact details rather than responding to the caller's claims.

What should I do if 02 9003 1310 calls claiming a delivery is short payment?

Do not provide payment or personal information to anyone claiming to be a delivery driver. If 02 9003 1310 calls with an urgent payment request, hang up and contact the food delivery service directly using the number on your receipt or their official website. Legitimate delivery drivers rarely call asking for additional payment by phone.

Why do callers from 02 9003 1310 only play music when I call back?

Several contributors reported calling 0290031310 back and hearing only hold music with no option to speak to anyone or leave a message. This behaviour is often associated with either auto-dialling systems or numbers temporarily inactive. If you need to confirm a delivery, always initiate contact using the food service's official number rather than calling back an unknown number.

Can 02 9003 1310 be spoofed by scammers?

Yes. The presence of one clear delivery impersonation scam among legitimate delivery reports suggests this number may have been spoofed. Scammers can display any phone number on your caller ID, including legitimate business numbers. Never assume a call is legitimate based on the caller ID alone, especially if it involves urgent payment requests.

Should I answer calls from 0290031310 if I'm expecting a delivery?

Exercise caution. While several contributors confirmed legitimate deliveries via 0290031310, one scam report involved delivery impersonation and payment fraud. If you're expecting a delivery and 0290031310 calls, ask questions: request their driver name, the food service company name, and your order number. Hang up and verify by calling the food service directly before providing any information or payment.
